Jewelry care

To preserve your jewelry

Place them in a cool, dry and safe place, such as its Shiny Root case, protected from extreme temperatures, steam and humidity.

For the money we also advise you to store it in an airtight plastic bag like the one placed in your order.

Namely, silver is a soft metal that is easily scratched and damaged. Engravings wear off more quickly on silver rings, and they will tarnish over time if the jewelry is not properly protected.

We strongly advise against wearing your jewelry in a swimming pool, sea, ocean or wearing your jewelry while you are cleaning it with bleaches, detergents or other chemicals, do not spray perfume or hairspray on or around your jewelry, wear your jewelry to sleep, and wear your jewelry to the gym.

We recommend putting on your jewelry very last, when getting ready for the day/evening.

To clean your jewelry

Clean your jewelry regularly . They will be much easier to clean if you don't let tarnish build up.

Over time, silver develops a natural patina: a dark, nuanced shine that manifests on the surface, from oxidation.

If you wish, you can restore shine to the surface of your jewelry by gently polishing it using the microfiber cloth included in your order.

Do not use standard jewelry cleaning chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

If the microfiber cloth is not enough

All you need is lukewarm water, not boiling. A few drops of mild dish soap and a toothbrush with extra soft bristles.

If you want, you can let the item soak for a few minutes before scrubbing it. Scrub the jewelry very gently, rinse with clean water and dry well with a microfiber towel or soft paper towel, as humidity is one of the factors that contributes to tarnishing.

For oxidized jewelry, from the "Memoria" range, do not use a special silver cleaning product or clean excessively as this would completely remove any intentional presence of oxidation/black patina present on certain details of the skull.
